Rose Hill Plantation State Historic Site
Come join us for a nighttime hike along Rose Hill Plantation's half mile nature trail and see what night life was like back in the 1800s. After the hike, sit down around a bonfire and roast marshmallows as you gaze up at the stars. Learn about the constellations in the night sky and how enslaved people would use the cover of darkness to escape and navigate their way to freedom using only the stars as a guide.
