The (4-hour) Mental & Physical Health Fair brings together representatives from a wide range of organizations that provide mental and physical healthcare. The MAP Health Fair offers healthy cooking demonstrations, nutrition information on fresh produce, canning classes and delicious/nutritious treats for kids including fruit/veggie ice creams. Attendees learn about reducing chronic health conditions through healthy eating and exercise. The event is held at the Union County Farm & Craft Market so that attendees can make purchases of fresh produce after tastings and receiving recipes to make at home. The MAP Health Fair brings over 600 residents and visitors to Union County, SC for agricultural and cooking demonstrations, nutritious and delicious meal ideas and snacks, mental and health resources, music, educational activities, fresh produce and homemade baked goods and handmade items. The event is FREE and all members of the community (adults and children) are welcome.
